Nottaii ("the App") is operated by Quantiq ("we", "us", "our"). This
Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your
information when you use our application.
By using Nottaii, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Data
Email address: Obtained through Google Sign-In or
Apple Sign-In, managed via AWS Cognito.
User identifier: Automatically generated to link your
account with your data.
1.2 User Content
Audio recordings: Audio files you record or upload to
the App.
Video recordings: Video files you record or upload to
the App.
Photographs: Images you upload for processing.
Transcriptions: Text automatically generated from
your recordings using artificial intelligence.
Summaries: Structured notes automatically generated
by AI from your transcriptions.
1.3 Purchase Data
In-app purchase history: Managed through RevenueCat,
including purchased credit packages, subscriptions, and credit
balance.
1.4 Device Data
Device token: Unique identifier to send push
notifications to your device, managed through AWS Pinpoint.
Device type and operating system: Collected to
optimize the service and resolve technical issues.
IP address: Temporarily logged on server logs for
security and diagnostic purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide and maintain the Nottaii service
Process your recordings and generate transcriptions and summaries
Manage your account and authentication
Process and record your credit and subscription purchases
Send you notifications about the status of your recordings
Improve service quality and user experience
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Prevent fraud and misuse of the service
We do not use your content (recordings, transcriptions, or summaries) to
train artificial intelligence models or for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Nottaii uses the following third-party services that may access your
data:
3.1 Amazon Web Services (AWS)
AWS S3: Secure storage of audio, video, and photo
recordings.
AWS Cognito: Authentication and user account
management.
7. Rights for European Economic Area (EEA) Residents
If you reside in the EEA, you have additional rights under the General
Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Legal basis for processing: We process your data
based on your consent (when creating your account and using the
service) and contractual necessity (to provide you the service).
Right to object: You may object to the processing of
your data in certain circumstances.
Right to restriction: You may request that we
restrict the processing of your data.
Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint
with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
International transfers: Your data is transferred to
the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards to protect your
data during these transfers.

8.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you reside in California, you have additional rights under the
California Consumer Privacy Act:

categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected.

"sharing" of your personal information. Nottaii does not sell or share
your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states
with privacy laws may exercise similar rights by contacting us at

9. Children's Privacy
Nottaii is not directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not
intentionally collect information from children under 16. If we discover
that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete that
information immediately.

10. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside
your country of residence, specifically in the United States (AWS
us-east-1). By using Nottaii, you consent to this transfer.
For EEA users, we implement appropriate safeguards, including European
Commission standard contractual clauses, to protect your data during
international transfers.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Nottaii is a native application and does not use cookies. However, we
use:
Device tokens: To send you push notifications about
the status of your recordings.
Authentication tokens (JWT): To keep your session
active securely.
We do not use tracking technologies for advertising or behavioral
analytics purposes.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of
significant changes through the App or by email. The "last updated" date
at the beginning of this document indicates when the most recent changes
were made.
Continued use of Nottaii after the posting of changes constitutes your
acceptance of the updated policy.
